Kelly's Garden

Across from the Rosary Circle, sits a small decorative brick wall enclosure with two benches. In the middle of the brick wall is a cross. This inviting place to pray or spend time with friends is Kelly’s Garden, dedicated to the memory of Kelly Roggensack, a Franciscan University student and cross country team member who died in 2009.

On a plaque next to the garden, Kelly’s parents encourage all visitors to do what Kelly sought to accomplish with her short life—use their gifts and abilities to “make the world a better place in the eyes of God.”
